According to a report by Spanish outlet SPORT , Nico Williams remains the subject of interest from Barcelona. But the 21-year-old is on the verge of signing a new contract with Athletic Club.
However, he is open to joining the Blaugrana in the future, although a move this summer is unlikely.

Gerrard planning to raid Everton for new striker
Al-Ettifaq manager Steven Gerrard is reportedly keen on signing Everton’s star forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin in January, according to The Sun.
Gerrard’s team are currently seventh in the Saudi Pro League and want to bolster their attack force with a new striker. The former Liverpool has hence turned his focus towards his former Merseyside rivals.
Aston Villa keen on Paris Saint-Germain’s Carlos Soler
Aston Villa are reportedly interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Carlos Soler. Although Soler is under contract until the summer of 2027, there is already uncertainty surrounding his long-term future at the Parc des Princes.
Enrique is keen to bring in a new creative midfielder, but he will only be able to do so if PSG offload one of their current options in the middle of the park.
