Fabrizio Romano confirmed the news via his Twitter handle stating: “Sadio Mané has reached full verbal agreement with Bayern on personal terms. Three year contract ready – talks will enter into final stages with Liverpool, new bid set to be submitted. #FCBayern
#LFC are aware of his decision: Mané wants Bayern – and it’s really close now.”
The Liverpool star is being targeted by the Bundesliga giants as a possible replacement for Robert Lewandowski, who wants to leave the club this summer.
Manè signed up for Liverpool in 2016 for a reported fee of £34 million and has gone on to feature for the Reds in 196 games scoring 90 goals in total.
Manchester United and Arsenal are said to be in a race to sign former Wolverhampton Wanderers loanee Vitinha, who played for the Premier League side in the 2020-21 season on loan from Porto, as per reports via multiple sources.
The player was linked to Manchester United but a report via Caughoffside suggests that Arsenal have also joined the race, as they look to seal the deal ahead of their rivals.

The League 1 club are at a latter stage of negotiations with Javier Ribalta to become their new director at the club, as per Fabrizio Romano.
The Spaniard worked with current Marseille president Pablo Longoria at Juventus and is set for a reunion at the club, if the deal goes through.
Ribalta signed Bruno Fernandes at Novara for £40,000 in 2012.
