The Red Devils have ruled out Maguire’s switch to Chelsea on a swap as they have made it known that their Captain is part of their plan and he is not going anywhere.
Maguire along with Cristiano Ronaldo watch from the bench in their 2-1 win over Liverpool on Monday night at Old Trafford.
The match was the Red Devils’ first win of the season and it lifted Erik ten Hag’s boys’ spirit to travel to Saint-Mary’s stadium on the 27th to face Southampton.
Albeit, Ronaldo came in for Marcus Radshford at the 86th minute to warm up in marking his appearance on the pitch as a goal from Jadon Sancho at 16 minutes, and Rashord’s 53 minutes’ helped secure a win at Old Trafford.
Harry Maguire has come under harsh criticism over his bad performances which have caused Manchester United a lot of time to recover from.
Maguire came second alongside Cristiano Ronaldo on the most abused players on social media with a count of 8,954 as Ronaldo got 12,520.
Pundits don’t find it hard in their day-to-day conversations to mention these two controversial players as some believe they are Manchester United’s problem.
