The 23-year-old left-back has been surrounded by transfer speculation linking him with a move out of Brighton, with Manchester City and Chelsea being known to be good admirers of the Spain international.

Chelsea will be in the market for defensive reinforcement, having seen Antonio Rudiger and Christensen made a move to Real Madrid and Barcelona respectively for free.

On the other hand, Manchester City is also making a move to bring the Spanish defender to their side in the summer and according to The Sun, the Pep Guardiola’s sides are confident of beating Chelsea to the signature of the Brighton star come summer.

Marc Cucurella has been able to establish himself as a regular first-team star since he joined Brighton from Getafe and has gone ahead to make 38 appearances and provided two assists in all competitions for the Premier League outfits.
