According to Fichajes, Manchester United are prepared to go big and place a bid of €60m for Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund this summer.
Hojlund impressed for Atalanta last season, scoring 19 goals across all competitions, which has seen him catch the eye of many clubs including Manchester United.
Arsenal still in talks for Rice, Havertz
rsenal remain in talks with both West Ham United and Chelsea over the signings of Declan Rice and Kai Havertz. Sky Sports News has been told that while there remains a gap in valuation for both players discussions are positive. There is a growing feeling both players want to join the club.
Potential deals for Rice and Havertz are currently the primary focus for Arsenal, but it is understood they retain an interest in Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo and will continue to keep an eye on his situation.
Brentford considering next move on Johnson
Brentford are still deciding whether to go back in with an improved offer for Nottingham Forest forward Brennan Johnson. A source close to Forest has described Brentford’s opening £30m bid as “derisory and insulting” – and it was dismissed out of hand immediately.
Forest have no intention of selling Johnson – he only signed a new four-year contract last summer. It is thought it would take a bid of at least £50m for Forest to even contemplate engaging in talks with another club over such a valuable member of their squad.
Barça interested in Ivan Fresneda
Real Valladolid starlet Ivan Fresneda is thought to be on the move this summer. The 18-year-old defender has been linked with a number of sides across Europe in recent months, most prominently Arsenal, Newcastle United and Juventus.
German giants Borussia Dortmund are closest to being his destination. However, there could still be a twist in the tale as the youngster has his head turned by fresh Barcelona interest.
According to SPORT, Fresneda’s camp has “paralyzed” his departure for Borussia Dortmund in light of Blaugrana interest. His market value is thought to be around €18m, but Barca would only be willing to seal the operation for €10m plus another €5m in add-ons.
