De Jong makes transfer decision as the Man United target is ‘open’ to Chelsea move. Frenkie de Jong has reiterated his desire to stay put at Barcelona this summer but the Man United target is apparently open to a Chelsea transfer if he is forced to move on amid financial worries for the Spanish club.
The former Ajax midfielder has been linked away all summer with an exit as Barca’s need to move on the 25-year-old is great to comply with La Liga financial regulations.
However, with the Catalan giants are still in debt to De Jong over deferred wages, it seems as though the player won’t consider an exit unless he’s given what he is owed by his current side.
Borussia Dortmund considering move to sign Chelsea star
Borussia Dortmund have set their sights on signing Timo Werner from Chelsea. The Bundesliga side are keen on bringing in a striker after Sebastian Haller was ruled out for ‘a few months’ after he began treatment for a testicular tumor. As per a report in Fichajes, Werner is now a target for Dortmund again.
They were linked with the forward earlier this summer but opted to sign Karim Adeyemi and Haller instead. Werner is looking to leave Chelsea this summer as he wants to play more regularly. The German has admitted that he wants to make it to the World Cup squad and would be open to leaving if he is not guaranteed minutes.
Chelsea offers experienced midfielder to Juventus
Juventus has been offered a chance to sign Jorginho in this transfer window. The Azzurri star has been a long-term target of the Bianconeri, and they now need to sign a new midfielder after Paul Pogba’s injury.
Reports have linked Jorginho with a return to Serie A since he moved to England and the Brazilian-Italian has just a season left on his current Blues deal.
There is uncertainty over if the English club would offer him a new contract, but Tuttojuve reports that he has now been offered to the Bianconeri. The report claims the English club no longer considers him a player that must be on their team.
