Arsenal are stepping things up as they eye a £70million double raid for Ajax defender Lisandro Martinez and Gabriel Jesus. But they are facing competition from local rivals Tottenham for Jesus after Antonio Conte launched an attempt to land the striker.

Manchester City are believed to be happy to let Jesus and Raheem Sterling leave if the deals are right and Chelsea are stepping up their pursuit of the latter.
