The 22-year-old Netherlands international is expected to sign a five-year contract until the summer of 2027.

Tottenham target Memphis Depay

According to Caught Offside, Tottenham are interested in bringing in Memphis Depay, who has been given the green light to leave by Barcelona. Robert Lewandowski’s move to the Catalan club implies that the Dutchman may find it difficult to get playing time in his preferred centre-forward position.

And so, with the World Cup only a matter of months away, it may be in the best interests of the 28-year-old to find a new club, with Tottenham being one of the clubs to express early interest.

AC Milan have opened talks with Tottenham to sign Japhet Tanganga. Spurs are open to allowing him out on loan following the arrival of Clement Lenglet.

Sky Sports News also reported the interest of other clubs in the Premier League including Bournemouth and Southampton. Tanganga is a product of Spurs’ academy and fulfils a vital homegrown player spot in their squad.

Everton centre-back Jarrad Branthwaite has joined Dutch side PSV Eindhoven on a season-long loan deal. The 20-year-old joined the Toffees from League Two club Carlisle, his hometown team, in January 2020.

Doncaster Rovers have signed centre-back Adam Long from Wigan Athletic. The 21 year-old defender arrives in South Yorkshire for an undisclosed fee, signing a two-year contract.

Aaron McEneff will leave Hearts to join Australian club Perth Glory. All parties have agreed terms and the midfielder will make the move to the A-League side, subject to visa approval and international clearance.
