Chelsea and Manchester City have reached an agreement for Cole Palmer, according to The Athletic. The west London club will pay a fee in the region of £40-£45million for the England Under-21 international. The 21-year-old is now expected to undergo a medical in the next 24 hours.

Palmer scored in the FA Community Shield defeat to Arsenal to close out pre-season but has only featured twice since starting and scoring in the UEFA Super Cup win over Sevilla and coming off the bench in the opening-weekend Premier League victory against Burnley.

Balogun leaves Arsenal for Monaco

Folarin Balogun has completed his move from Arsenal to Monaco in a transfer worth €40million (£34.4m; $43.4m). The two clubs agreed a fee of €30m plus up to €10m in add-ons for the USMNT striker, and Arsenal have inserted a significant sell-on clause into the deal. The 22-year-old had a medical on Tuesday and has now signed a five-year contract with the Ligue 1 club.

Balogun spent last season on loan at Stade Reims in France, scoring 21 Ligue 1 goals in 37 appearances but has been clear he wants first-team football. He made just two Premier League appearances during his time at Arsenal, and played a total of ten first-team matches across all competitions, scoring two goals.

Despite playing for England at youth level, up to the Under-21s, Balogun — who was born in the United States to Nigerian parents — opted to switch to the USMNT in May. He has played twice for the USMNT since his switch and scored against Canada in the Nations League final in June.

Liverpool in discussions for Bayern Munich’s Gravenberch

Liverpool are in discussions with Bayern Munich over Ryan Gravenberch, according to Sky Sports. Talks took place earlier in the summer so this is nothing new as far as Bayern are concerned.

Liverpool are yet to submit an official proposal. Gravenberch, 21, would be Liverpool’s fourth midfield signing this summer if he joined. The former Ajax man has slipped down the pecking order at Bayern with Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka and Konrad Laimer.

Bayern Munich inquire about potential move for Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher

TalkSPORT has reported that Bayern Munich have reportedly made inquiries into a potential move for Conor Gallagher before the window closes.

The 23-year-old has been linked with an exit this summer although no move has materialized as of yet. Reports have indicated that the Blues are open to letting him leave although only for the right fee, something that hasn’t hit their table yet.

TalkSPORT has reported that the German giants are in talks over a move for Trevor Chalobah and made inquiries into a deal for Gallagher as well. The report has indicated that Thomas Tuchel is pushing the move for both players although the Bavarians have only made initial contact over a move….READFULL
