Chelsea have been handed a transfer boost in their pursuit of Torino defender, Gleison Bremer. While speaking to ESPN, Bremer said that he has decided he will leave Torino.
He also said he was considering proposals. In his own words, “It’s just a matter of time and then I’m gonna leave Torino. I’m considering some proposals, we’ll see”.
Bremer’s latest transfer statements open the door to a potential move to Chelsea, who are interested in his services. Tottenham are also interested in signing the Brazilian, and Chelsea will have to be ready to ‘fight’ for Bremer’s signature.
Bremer put in some impressive displays for Torino last season. The Brazilian, who won the Serie A Defender of the Season Award, has attracted interest from multiple European heavyweights.
Real Madrid plot €150m move for Haaland in 2024
According to Goal, Real Madrid have not given up on signing Erling Haaland. As cited by Goal, the Spanish giants are planning a €150 million move for the Norwegian when his release clause becomes active in 2024. Coincidentally, that is also when Karim Benzema’s contract with Real Madrid is set to expire.
Haaland’s contract with Manchester City includes a €150 million release clause which will become active by 2024. Real Madrid are hoping to trigger his release clause when that happens. That way, they could sign Haaland as a possible replacement for Benzema.
