The 24-year-old Uruguay International, who gained promotion to the Barcelona first-team squad back in 2020 has been an important member of the team over the previous seasons.
The young central defender was hugely involved for Barcelona football club during the 2022/2023 season where he scored one goal and created two assists in 31 appearances in all competitions.
Ronald Araujo has also been quite involved for Barcelona football club so far this ongoing 2023/2024 season, scoring one goal in 20 appearances in all competitions.
His excellent performances in defence has caught the attention of Manchester United football club and according to reports from Transfer News Live, the Red Devils are keen on signing him.
The reports further claimed that Barcelona football club are also aware of Manchester United’s interest in Ronald Araujo and are now willing to offload him for €80million transfer fee.
It is believed that Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez wants some more signings and he could be interested in offloading Ronald Araujo for €80million in order to get funds.
