According to Football Transfers, Arsenal are plotting an ambitious swoop of PSG’s star Kylian Mbappe. The 2018 World Cup Winner has expressed his desire to leave the French giants as a free agent next summer and the Gunners want to sign the goal scoring machine.

If Real Madrid fail to sign Mbappe this season, Mikel Arteta and company can hijack Perez’s plans of signing the stalwart as they look to bolster their forward department. Although pulling off the transfer won’t be easy, the North London outfit will look to lure him to England next summer.

Man Utd to resume De Gea talks after wedding

Manchester United are expected to resume talks with David De Gea about a new contract after his wedding this weekend, according to Sky Sports. De Gea’s contract expires on Friday June 30 at midnight but the 32-year-old is enjoying private time with his family in Spain and United do not want to interrupt that.

United, it is thought, will continue face-to-face discussions with De Gea in due course.

Pepe to return to Arsenal as he plans to discuss future with Arteta

According to Colinteerview, Arsenal winger Nicolas Pepe is scheduled to discuss his future with Mikel Arteta in the upcoming days. The Ivorian starlet moved to Nice after failing to live up to the expectations at the Emirates and has since returned to his parent club after his loan spell in Ligue 1.

“Because I was loaned with a loan without an option to buy, I have to go back to Arsenal. After that, we don’t know. Go back there, see, speak with the manager and everyone to see everyone’s ideas, and only then make a decision,” suggested Pepe ( via Colinteerview).

Signed for £72m in 2019 by Arsenal, Pepe could strengthen Arteta’s bench strength this season especially after the North London outfit secured Champions League football.

Inter confirm Skriniar departure

Inter Milan have announced the departures of defenders Milan Skriniar and Danilo D’Ambrosio and midfielder Roberto Gagliardini from the club upon the expiry of their contracts.

The 28-year-old Skriniar, who captains Slovakia, has won a Scudetto, two Italian Cups and two Italian Super Cups during a six seasons with the Nerazzurri, for whom he made 246 appearances and scored 11 goals.

Skriniar’s last season was plagued by injuries as he missed over 20 games in all competitions with Inter, who finished third in the Italian top flight. Skriniar has been linked to a move to Ligue 1 champions Paris St Germain.
