Manchester United have made contact with Brighton over midfielder Moises Caicedo ahead of launching a formal bid. Sky Sports claim both Caicedo and Mason Mount are of interest, though it remains to be seen if interest in the Seagulls star is in favour of a move for the England international.
Manchester United have been told by Chelsea to pay £65millon for Mount, though Caicedo is not expected to cost any less.
Arsenal agree £105m deal for West Ham’s Rice
Arsenal have agreed a £105m deal with West Ham to sign captain Declan Rice. The fee includes a guaranteed £100m, the structure of which is still being negotiated between the two clubs, plus £5m in additional extras.
Rice will now discuss personal terms with the Gunners and will be free to undertake a medical at London Colney. Manchester City had also been in the race for the 24-year-old but pulled out after their £90m bid was rejected earlier on Wednesday, leaving Arsenal in pole position to seal the deal for the Europa Conference League-winning skipper.
Al-Ahli sends formal proposal for Franck Kessie
As per Gerard Romero, Al-Ahli have sent FC Barcelona their first proposal for Franck Kessie worth €20 million (£17m/$22m). The report also suggests that Kessie would receive €10 million (£10.9m/$8.6m). The Ivorian also reportedly has the admiration of Chelsea boss, Mauricio Pochettino who may look to go for the outbound player.
