Man United open to selling Antony
According to a report by Fichajes, Manchester United are considering parting ways 23-year-old forward Antony just a year after signing him from Ajax for a fee of €95m.
The Brazilian attacker has failed to live up to the expectations, producing a total of 10 goals and five assists in 45 games. And, he could be on his way out in what would be “a great bombshell” just around the corner in the upcoming summer window.
The report adds that Antony would have to “find a new destination in the Premier League” in order to revive his football career.
Man United told to go back in for De Jong
Ex-Manchester United assistant Rene Meulenstein has urged his former side to “do everything” in order to sign Barcelona midfielder Frenkie De Jong this summer.
Erik ten Hag has been desperate to reunite with his former Ajax ace ever since he took the reins at Old Trafford, but De Jong isn’t quite as keen.
Meulenstein is of the belief that the Camp Nou star would slot in at United seamlessly as he insisted that landing another midfielder is vital for United.
