Ajax has reached an agreement with Branco van den Boomen on the transfer of the midfielder to Amsterdam. Van den Boomen transfers to Ajax as a free agent from Toulouse FC, where his contract is ending. He signs a contract starting on July 1, 2023, which runs for four seasons, until June 30, 2027.
Ten Hag wants Mount at Man Utd
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is keen on bringing Mason Mount to Old Trafford, according to The Telegraph. The England international is also on the radar of Arsenal and Liverpool, but Ten Hag is thought to be confident of wrapping up a deal. Mount, who came through Chelsea’s academy, missed the end of the season with a pelvic injury.
Man City blocked Cancelo’s Barcelona move
Xavi Hernandez has claimed that Manchester City stopped Joao Cancelo from joining Barcelona in January. The Barcelona boss said his team had agreed a deal, but City had a change of heart and vetoed the transfer.
