Hartlepool United have signed veteran striker Leon Clarke on a deal until the end of the season. The 38-year-old comes into a Pools side second-bottom of League Two after Tuesday’s 2-0 defeat by Crewe.

Clarke has scored 153 goals in 518 games for 18 clubs, including hometown team Wolves, Sheffield United, Sheffield Wednesday and Coventry.

Chelsea could make Felix signing permanent in the summer

Chelsea could convert Joao Felix’s loan to a permanent signing in the summer, according to Cadena Ser. However, it has been reported that Atletico could quote Chelsea a figure between €130million (£115m) and €140m (£123m) which might be a major stumbling block. The Rojiblancos paid €127 million for Felix from Benfica in 2019.

Chelsea want Neymar in the summer

Chelsea chairman had a meeting with PSG’s Nasser Al-Khelaifi in Paris earlier this week to discuss a potential deal for Neymar, according to Le Parisien via Sky Sports. The Brazilian forward had reportedly clashed with team-mates and was also involved in a spat with Luis Campos following their Ligue 1 defeat to AS Monaco last Saturday.
