Spurs claimed three points against the Red Devils for the first time at their new stadium and were good value for the victory despite some haphazard defending. Erik ten Hag’s side ceded the midfield battle for a second straight game and his men head back north without the points.
Here are the three Man United players who performed well despite their loss to Tottenham
Casemiro
A steady presence at the base of midfield. He gains form the more he plays and an increased familiarity with Mount avoided the repeat of the “Casemiro on an island” howler against Wolves.
Andre Onana
Some very nice passes despite one being inches away from being intercepted. Long pass to Garnacho in the first half was superb and a couple decent saves. Couldn’t do anything about either goal.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka
Going from strength to strength it seems. Probably one of United’s best players before being replaced….READFULL
