According to the Dailymail; Romelu Lukaku has’rejected’ a move to Tottenham and is only interested in returning to Inter Milan. However, according to Sport Witness, Lukaku has’rejected Conte and Tottenham’ and ‘only wants’ to join Inter if he leaves Stamford Bridge this summer. During Lukaku’s final season in Milan, Conte was in charge of Inter when the Italian giants won the Scudetto.

Despite Lukaku’s poor season at Stamford Bridge, Bergomi claims the Blues will demand a massive €20 million (£17 million) loan fee to allow the former Inter star to go this summer.

Chelsea was therefore barred from participating in the transfer market or contract negotiations with players. However, now that the sanctions have been lifted, the new-look Stamford Bridge hierarchy will be debating the long-term prospects of a number of players, including Lukaku.
