After the opening weekend, most of the big teams won their games and consolidated their place at the top of the table early on.

But some other teams did not do well and they will be hoping to record their first win this weekend.

We this in mind, we will looks at the top three toughest fixtures in the Premier league this weekend.

Here they are:

1. Brentford vs Manchester United

In a normal season, this ought not to be a tough fixture but after Manchester United’s opening weekend loss to Brighton at home, Erik Ten Hag must work to deliver the United’s first win of the season.

Brentford will not be an easy team to play against as they know how to play the big teams. But Man United will be hoping their good record against them will help in recording their first win.

2. Chelsea vs Tottenham Hotspur

Unarguably the biggest fixture in club football this weekend. Thomas Tuchel team takes on Antonio Conte’s men.

Chelsea have a good record against Tottenham especially during last season but this Sunday, it will not be easy as Tottenham will be looking to take revenge against the Blues at Stamford Bridge.

3. Liverpool vs Crystal Palace

Although, Liverpool are expected to win his game but their opening weekend 2-2 draw against Fulham is suggesting otherwise.

Crystal Palace under Patrick Vieira are stronger than Fulham and they will pose a serious threat to Jurgen Klopp’s team when both clubs face on Monday.
