2. Financially Stability

Many fans have the feeling that Chelsea could struggle financially with the arrival of a new owner and without the wealth of their Russian billionaire, but on truthful note, Chelsea would be financially okay, even with the change of ownership that is bound to happen.

It should be known that whosoever will become the new owner of Chelsea is not expected to be less richer than Roman Abramovich, or would be even richer than the Russian.

Chelsea are also self sufficient, they signed Romelu Lukaku for almost £100 million last season, and also recorded profits at the end of 2021.

Transfer Market Uncertainty

With the change of ownership coming so close to the end of the season, Chelsea are likely to have uncertainty in the transfer window, either players leaving the club or signing new players.

The change could also affect the negotiation with players who are on the last year of their contract at the club, as negotiation could stall with the players at this period of a takeover.
