The last winner is French Forward, Karim Benzema who might still make it to another nomination based on his performances in the ongoing campaign. There are some obvious contenders which includes the like of Leo Messi, Kylian Mbappe and even Erling Haaland.
However here are 3 Players that also deserve mention in these year’s nominations;
1. Marcus Rashford
With his goalscoring form and level of performances, the Man United and England Forward deserves a nomination for the Ballon D’or award because he has definitely played his way into earning it.
2. Victor Osimhen
The Napoli and Nigerian Forward is another Player that needs to get a mention on the Ballon D’or list. He has unarguably been the most consistent African Footballer on the European continent this season hence why a nomination is a deserved reward for his performances.
3. Vinicius Jr
Although, he has had a nomination before which was last year, Vinicius Jr deserves another one for remaining consistent so far this season for Real Madrid. The Brazilian winger has been very impressive especially in the big games for Los Blancos and he deserves a rewarding nomination on the Ballon D’or list.
