William Saliba’s Premier League debut took three turbulent years and multiple Ligue 1 loan stints, but his outstanding performances in recent weeks show it was well worth the wait.
On his Arsenal debut, the Frenchman won the Man of the Match award, making the transition to the English top flight appear effortless. Since then, he has put on a string of outstanding performances that have helped him quickly solidify his place in the first team.
3. Gabriel Jesus
Gabriel Jesus has undoubtedly earned his redemption in red and white and is continuing to make a mockery of his £45 million price tag, despite the fact that he was relegated to a bit-part role for much of his time under Pep Guardiola.
The Centurion, who is Mikel Arteta’s main man, is flourishing and has gained a legion of new fans as a result of his incredible start at the club. He has made seven appearances and contributed to seven goals, continuing his illustrious streak of never losing a Premier League game in which he has scored.
