“If the situation regarding racism in Spain does not improve by 2030, it might be necessary to move the location of the World Cup. Because if a player does not feel comfortable in a country where he can suffer from racism, it complicates things,” Vinicius Junior said in an interview with CNN, where he addresses this social issue without filter.

The Brazilian added that although the majority of Spaniards are not racist, a small group harms the country’s image. He also said that he and his teammates would leave the pitch at the next racist incident in a stadium.

There are things that are beyond the control of athletes. He is right in substance, but he is going too far.”

Finally, Javi Amaro added: “We have to support his convictions, but fortunately he doesn’t make the decisions.
