According to the report, this drug has been identified as Benylin pediatric syrup. Benylin pediatric syrup is a cough suppressant that works by decreasing the feeling of needing to cough.
This drug has an unacceptably high level of diethylene glycol which may lead to death. According to the report, Toxic effects can include; abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea, inability to pass urine, headache, altered mental state, and acute kidney injury which may lead to death.
