He added that Passports, citizenship, E-services and other services will be available at the office.The office will serve four counties from the western region (Bungoma, Busia, Kakamega and Transnzoia).

Speaking while addressing the media ahead the Madaraka Day Celebrations, PS Bitok reiterated that currently the government is collecting seven hundred million shillings daily from E citizen adding that ttthe government intends to collect two billion shillings to boost government revenue collection by end of the year.

Immigration office will be officially launched by President Dr. William Ruto on Friday 31st2024. President Ruto is on a three day tour of Bungoma County whre is also expected to lead other Kenyas in marking the 61stMadaraka Day at Masinde Muliro Stadium in Bungoma County.

On his part, Communication and information Permanent Secretary Professor Edward Kisiang’ani has dismissed a section leaders in Bungoma County who want to take credit on the development projects that has been witnessed in the County.
