Addressing via the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) on Tuesday, 9th March 2024, the Kenyan Government has ordered the strategic installation of a dual red light indicator in all school buses in the country.
The Kenyan Government has underscored that the dual red light indicator must be fitted at the front and rear side of all school buses in a set of new guidelines solemnly fostered towards enhancing road safety for students and curtailing the rising cases of traffic accidents involving school buses.
Giving a glimpse of the timeline within which drivers of school buses will be required to switch on the dual red light indicator, the Kenyan Government has underscored that the new gadget will be switched on when the drivers of school buses wants to notify other motorists that students are crossing the road.
