What seems to be strange is the fact that each of the big six clubs have made new signings in the summer 2022 transfer window except for Chelsea who are yet to make any signings.
Manchester City is the big six EPL club that has spent the highest amount in the 2022 summer transfer window. The Citizens have signed Erling Haaland for €60 Million, Kalvin Philips for €48.8 Million and Ortega whom they signed for Free.
Liverpool on the other hand have made 3 new signings. The Reds have signed Darwin Nunez, Fabio Carvalho and Ramsay at a fee of €75 Million, €12 Million and €4.9 Million respectively.
Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal have each made 4 new signings in the 2022 summer transfer window. Tottenham Hotspur have signed Richarlison, Ivan Perisic, Yves Bissouma and Fraser Forster while Arsenal has signed Gabriel Jesus, Marquinhos, Vieira and Matt Turner who is a goalkeeper.
