Many Spanish players were not called up and so won’t be participating in the tournament.
Some of the players who were not selected okay for top European teams like Barcelona, Liverpool, Real Betis, Real Sociedad, Paris Saint-Germain.
Spain Xi Players who didn’t called up.
Goalkeeper: David De Gea.
Defenders: Sergio Ramos, Inigo, Alex M. And Balde.
Forwards: B. Iglesias, M. Oyarzabal and Iago Aspas.
Midfielders: Canales, Thiago Alacantra and Merino.
Despite the fact that Balde has been incredible in the left-back for Barcelona since the start of the season, he was still left of the Spain’s world cup squad.
Spanish national manager snub him probably because he still young and lacks suitable experience to participate in the world cup tournament.
If Balde continues to play at a very high level, he might get his first shot at the World cup in the 2026 if Spain qualifiers.
Another unbelievable omission from the Spain’s world squad is Sergio Ramos.
The Paris Saint-Germain centre-back has been at his best since the start of the season.
Despite the fact he didn’t do well I’m the previous season due to injuries, he has finally adapted to the playing style of Paris Saint-Germain.
