To celebrate his first birthday after his demise, his beloved wife Farida Fasasi has taken to her Instagram page to share a video with a list of all the wonderful things she misses about him. According to her, she misses his cheeky gap toothed smile and his jokes. She also misses waking up to his guitar strings and most importantly, their “inside jokes”.
She concluded by explaining that although he is no more alive, she’ll forever celebrate all that he has been to her.

Sound Sultan is greatly missed by all and sundry. He is seen as one of the pioneers of modern hip hop songs in Nigeria. His “Jagbajantis” song is legendary. May his soul continue to rest in peace.
