Here are some of the most destructive things in the universe, ranked from least to most powerful.

1. Supernovas

A supernova is the explosive death of a massive star. When a star runs out of fuel, it collapses under its own gravity and releases a huge amount of energy. This energy can outshine an entire galaxy for a brief moment, and create shock waves that can trigger the formation of new stars and planets.

However, a supernova can also destroy anything in its vicinity, including nearby planets or stars. A supernova can also produce deadly radiation, such as gamma rays, that can harm life on distant worlds.

2. Gamma-Ray Bursts

A gamma-ray burst (GRB) is a brief but intense flash of gamma rays, the most energetic form of electromagnetic radiation. GRBs are thought to be caused by the collapse of massive stars into black holes, or the merger of two neutron stars or black holes.
