Havertz has already proven himself in the Premier League and should have still been kept in the team even if Chelsea was going to sign another forward this summer.
Jackson has only proven himself last season at Villareal and is yet to prove his consistency for more than one season. His signing could affect Chelsea next season as he might struggle in adapting to the style of the Premier League.
Mauricio Pochettino will be faced with the problem of building a team with players who haven’t played with each other before.
This explains why Chelsea should have kept Havertz and still gone ahead with Jackson signing because the new striker would have learned from the German.
Nevertheless, Broja, Datro Fofana, and Nkunku are players who can as well be utilized to lead Chelsea’s attack next season.
