Umar Sadiq’s transfer from Almeria to Real Sociedad has been called off by Almeria, and the Nigeria striker had to train under Rub’s orders in Wednesday’s session.

According to AS, the agreement for €20 million plus five in variables was stopped due to doubts with the figures by Almera, with an agreement between all parties almost closed.

Apparently, there are a series of amounts in the operation that did not finish convincing Real Sociedad in the negotiation, and so they let Almera know.

There should have been no problem reaching an agreement on that matter, but this morning Almera’s boss and owner, Turki Al Sheikh, abruptly halted operations, putting the company in grave danger.

The reality is that, on behalf of Almera, an agency of intermediaries carried out the negotiation instead of Almera itself directly. In reality, it was the president in person, Jokin Aperribay, along with Roberto Olabe and Erik Bretos, who were negotiating.
