Recall while he was alive, Magufuli never believed in the existence of coronavirus as he took every available opportunity to advise Tanzanians to continue praying against the virus or adopt herbal treatment. It was however ironic then when news were all over social media that the same Covid-19 that Magufuli never believed was what caused his demise.
Popularly known as “The Bulldozer” because of his rambunctious style, Magufulu would always be remembered by the people of Tanzania for the fearless way he tackled corruption in the system and the ambitious infrastructural developments erected across the country. During the day of his funeral many citizens were seen shedding tears. However, Vice President Samia Suluhu Hassan has been sworn in as substantive president and she is set to complete the late Magufuli second term.
