The Russian embassy to Kenya has sent a message to Kenyans thanking them for their unending support in their activities in the country. They revealed that last year they had only 10k followers but now they have reached 45,000. They said that they were thanking Kenyans for their friendship, advice, support, honesty and criticism as they have led to their development.
“Dear friends, a year ago we were 10000, now we are 45000!
We would like to thank you all for the friendship, support, advices, honest criticism, open-mindedness, ability to hear and express an opinion in a civilised manner. Together we will make Russia-Kenya relations better!” The embassy said in a recent post.
Russia’s interest in Africa has been growing in recent years and they have so far got a lot of supporters. Despite Kenya being allied to some Western countries they have made a good friend with Russia and the relationship is expected to grow in the coming days.
