Portugal could have scored several goals in the match against Ghana, however, their star player, Crstiano Ronaldo failed to utilize several chances.
Ronaldo’s closest opportunity to score came in the first half when he was one on one with Ghana’s keeper.
Cristiano Ronaldo also failed to score a one on one against Ghana in the second half, although the goal wouldn’t have counted as he was offside.
A lot of fans have called Ronaldo a finished player after he failed to score these goals.
However, it is obvious that Ronaldo’s poor finishing is as a result of lack of play time this season. Ronaldo has been deprived of a lot of play time by Manchester United boss, Erik Ten Hag, and this seems to have reduced his confidence in fromt of goal.
