Ronaldo had a flying start to the season as he managed to score five goals and assisted twice in three games to sit top of the goalscoring charts.
His performances earned him the Player of the Month award as he beat off competition from Al-Hilal’s Malcom, Igor Coronado of Ittihad as well as his teammate Sadio Mané.
Meanwhile, Ittihad Jeddah’s Marcelo Grohe was given the Goalkeeper of the Month award as he is yet to concede a goal in the club’s opening four league games of the season.
The Brazilian was not the only member of the Ittihad Jeddah team to earn an award as his manager Nuno Santo was named as Manager of the Month.
The reigning Saudi champions currently sit top of the Saudi Pro League table with a 100% perfect record of 12 points from four games, scoring 12 goals while conceding none.
Finally, Al-Taawoun’s 19-year-old midfielder Abdulmalik Al-Oyayari claimed the Most Promising Player of the Month award as he led his club to an unbeaten start to the season…..READFULL
