Lilian Makena Mwenda was charged with offense of stealing two bottles of Hennessy Xo worth ksh 88000. The matter was reported by the management of the exquisite Whisky Two Rivers Liquor store.
He was arrested and detained at Gigiri police station and subsequently arraigned before Milimani Law Court. Makena denied the charges before presiding Magistrate Ben Mark Ekhubi.
She told the court that on the alleged date she was hospitalized at a medical facility in Roysambu area. Makena further presented medical laboratory test report that revealed that she was excessively drunken at the time she reported at the facility.
