The names submitted by the club on Wednesday consist of only players over the age of 21. Those born on or after 1 January 2002 don’t need to be registered and clubs are permitted to use as many Under-21 players as they like during games.

The likes of Hojlund, Garnacho, Hannibal, Amad and Kobbie Mainoo are all under 21, and therefore do not count towards the age limit.
