He highlighted that most resolutions seemed to align with the interests of one party, lacking an equitable balance. He pointed out that the only resolution that seemingly favored the other party pertained to halting processes leading to the governor’s impeachment.
He also stated that there were lingering issues of legality that remained unresolved about the 27 lawmakers who vacated their seats.
He said in an interview with TVC, ”We must thank the President for quickly intervening and calling the parties to order.
But the resolutions reached are far from what was expected to be arrived to maintain peace. Of all the resolutions reached, virtually all of them were geared toward the interest of one party.
And that did not sound equitable. The only resolution that tended to favor the other party was the resolution that all things leading to the impeachment of the governor should be stopped.
