And that has quite worked out well for Manchester United football club so far as they are currently occupying the 4th position on the Premier League table ahead of their next league match against Manchester City.
Despite their good run of form, Manchester United remain keen on improving their current squad and have been linked with a move for young PSV Eindhoven winger Cody Gakpo next year.
The 23-year-old Netherlands International, who gained promotion to the PSV Eindhoven first-team squad back in 2018 has been an important member of the team in recent seasons.
The young left-winger was hugely influential for PSV Eindhoven during the 2021/2022 season where he scored 21 goals and created 15 assists in 47 appearances in all competitions.
Cody Gakpo has also continued in his excellent form so far this ongoing 2022/2023 season as he has scored 10 goals and created three assists in the 13 matches he has played.
His impressive performances in front of goal is believed to have caught the attention of Manchester United and according to reports from Daily Mail, the Red Devils are willing to make another move for him.
The reports further claimed that Manchester United are really interested in Cody Gakpo and are contemplating to submit a transfer bid for him when the transfer window opens in January.
But then, it remains to be seen if Manchester United football club will be able to submit a convincing transfer bid and secure the signing of Cody Gakpo when the transfer window opens next year.
