The Red Devils secured their qualification to the group stages of the UEFA Champions League next season and must now add some new players in order to compete.
However, Manchester United football club are also very much aware of the need to offload some fringe players from the squad in order to raise funds for new signings.
And if reports are anything to go by, then Manchester United football club are now prepared to cash in on experienced central defender Eric Bailly before the transfer window closes.
The 29-year-old Ivory Coast International, who signed up for Manchester United after departing Villarreal back in 2016 has been in and out of the team over the previous seasons.
The experienced centre-back was sent out on loan to Ligue 1 side Olympique Marseille during the just concluded season where he made 23 appearances in all competitions.
Eric Bailly is expected to return to Manchester United after the end of his loan spell, but according to reports from Daily Mail, the Red Devils are now ready to offload him.
The reports further claimed that Manchester United football club are willing to cash in on the experienced Eric Bailly this summer if they receive any bid in the region of £2million.
It is believed that Eric Bailly is not part of manager Erik ten Hag’s plans for the forthcoming season and Manchester United are now willing to sell him this summer.
That said, it remains to be seen where the experienced central defender will choose to continue his football career if he eventually gets to leave Manchester United this summer.
