Due to this, Liverpool football club want to further strengthen their attacking options and have been linked with a move for young RB Leipzig forward Christopher Nkunku.
The 24-year-old France International, who signed up for RB Leipzig after departing Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain in 2019 has been an important member of the first-team squad over the previous seasons.
The young centre-forward has enjoyed a brilliant start to the new 2022/2023 football season having already scored 10 goals and created one assist in the 16 matches he has made.
His impressive performances in front of goal is believed to have caught the attention of Liverpool and according to reports from The Sun, the Premier League side are keen on signing him.
The reports further claimed that Liverpool football club are really interested in Christopher Nkunku and have now sent scouts to watch the striker ahead of the transfer window.
It is believed that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp wants to add more firepower to his attacking options and he has identified Christopher Nkunku as a needed addition to his squad.
But then, it remains to be seen if the young Christopher Nkunku will choose to continue his developments at RB Leipzig or he will be interested in a move to join Liverpool next year.
