The Defender has a €80m release clause in his contract with Sevilla and Sevilla will be expecting €80m for the defender or €60m before they could allow him leave. Chelsea offered €50m but Sevilla rejected the offer.
Chelsea are still pushing to sign the french man and they will present a new bid to Sevilla with an improve offer. They have other defenders in their transfer list the likes of Mattus De Ligt, Kalidou Koulibaly, Jonathan Clauss.
Chelsea are also in the transfer market for a new attacker and they have been linked with Raheem Sterling, Gabriel Jesus and Ousmane Dembele. They will sign at least 4 players this summer and some players will leave the club.
