Barcelona has emerged as the most serious suitor for the 33-year-old striker, who netted 50 goals in all competitions during the 21/22 campaign, Under Xavi Hernandez, the Blaugrana want to make the Ex- Borussia Dortmund Superstar, the leader of their project.
However, The Blaugrana have held talks with Lewandowski, and a contract is said to be on the table. The Spanish outfit have made an offer to the Bavarians, but are still yet to respond to their offer, With the club still firm on their stance that the Legendary attacker will have to see out his contract.
And, according to reports, Barcelona have been joined in the race to land Lewandowski by Chelsea and Manchester United, with PSG also expressing interest in the veteran forward.
Despite growing interest from the two Premier League heavyweights as well as Ligue 1 outfit, Lewandowski has his mind set on a move to Camp Nou and will wait for the La Liga club to complete a deal, according to Mundo Deportivo.
While Bayern Munich’s unwillingness to listen to offers has been a stumbling block, the matter has been exacerbated further by Barça’s own financial problems, with the club being unable to recruit or register new players.
