As Mbappe has decided to renew his contract with PSG, Real Madrid wanted to strengthen the other areas of their squad. French midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni was one of the priority transfer targets now that Mbappe would not be joining Real Madrid this summer. Real Madrid have also signed German defender Antonio Rudiger on a free transfer from Chelsea.

Real Madrid already had an agreement on personal terms with Tchouameni, however, there were multiple meetings between the clubs regarding the transfer fee. Finally, after multiple negotiations, Real Madrid and Monaco have now agreed on the transfer of the player.

Reliable transfer journalist, Fabrizio Romano has given a “Here We Go” to the transfer of Aurelien Tchouameni from AS Monaco to Real Madrid, which means the transfer has been officially agreed upon between the clubs and only the confirmation from the clubs is pending, which is just a matter of time.

The transfer fee agreed for Aurelien Tchouameni is €80m plus add-ons which almost amounts to €100m.

Many top European clubs like PSG and Liverpool wanted the Frenchman but he had his priorities fixed for Real Madrid, as not many players can turn down when Real Madrid come calling.

Tchouameni has been in excellent form this season for Monaco and is one of the best young defensive midfielders right now. Real Madrid needed a defensive cover for Casemiro and the Monaco star is the perfect replacement.

Real Madrid’s celebrated midfield of Kroos, Casemiro and Modric is not growing younger. So as time passes by, they will pass on the midfield baton to Valverde, Camavinga and Tchouameni.

Chelsea sensational wants Lazio move

Kepa Arrizabalaga has been, until not long ago, one of the great goalkeepers in Europe. In fact, the signing of him by the Chelsea cost close to 80 million euros, and the English team opted for a goalkeeper that they considered for many years.

However, the performance of the Basque goalkeeper dropped considerably and Edouard Mendy, the 30-year-old Senegalese goalkeeper, ended up taking his place in the blue goal.

Kepa returned to perform some what better, but Thomas Tuchel continued to rely on the African goalkeeper to guard Chelsea’s goal and the former Athletico Bilbao player has grown tired of remaining on the bench.

Kepa knows that he can once again offer his best level and is desperate for minutes, so his intention this summer is to leave the British club and the Latium who is looking for a goalkeeper and who has shown some interest in the Basque, could be the most viable option.

Kepa Arrizabalaga and Maurizio Sarri both have a close relationship after the Italian coach led the Chelsea bench. In fact, it was with him that Kepa arrived at the London team and offered his best performance. That is why the Basque goalkeeper, according to The Messaggero would have called Maurizio Sarri to urge him to convince Lazio to bet on his signing for the summer market.

Kepa’s value has dropped to 10 million euros and it is very unlikely that Chelsea will recover even a large part of what they invested, but at least they will be able to get something or, perhaps, they will give the blue goalkeeper a new opportunity, although Kepa is determined to leave.
