It has been claimed that Jesus has already given a positive signal about joining Arsenal and playing under Arteta, who the report says is the reason behind the Gunners’ push to sign him.

The report further reveals that Jesus is trying to get Guardiola to accept Arsenal’s latest offer. He wants to join the Gunners this summer, and it’s now City’s call whether to oblige their striker’s request or not.

The Brazilian is desperate for regular game time ahead of the World Cup later this year, and following Erling Haaland’s arrival at Manchester City, there’s no way he’ll be the main man at the Etihad next season.

It really does look like Arsenal are making good progress in this deal, and barring any hiccups in the next few weeks, we can expect to see Jesus leading the Gunners’ line next season.
