He went on to publicly state his desire to leave Allianz Arena, citing disagreements with the board and openly admitting his reluctance in returning to the Bayern Munich camp.

The Spanish news outlet indicates Laporta had made a promise to Lewandowski of doing everything he can to bring him to Camp Nou this summer if he goes public about his desire to leave Bavaria and considers Barca’s offer.

The report checks out rather well as Lewandowski has been quite vocal about his desire to leave and is willing to take a large pay cut and earn a figure of just €9 million per season at Camp Nou.
