The Spaniard has not been getting enough playing time at Arsenal football club since Mikel Arteta was appointed as the club’s head coach, and he has decided to leave the club.
The 27 years old spent last season on loan at Spanish Laliga Santander club-side Real Betis football club, and he made the total number of 23 appearances for the club in the League.
Bellerin returned to Arsenal football club after the end of his loan spell at Real Betis football club, and he has not been able to play a single minute for the club in the English Premier League this season.
The former Watford football club star has now decided to terminate his contract with the Gunners, and he has agreed a year deal with Barcelona football club.
Fabrizio Romano reported via his verified Twitter handle on Thursday that;
“Hector Bellerín to Barcelona football club, here we go! Been told it’s all agreed, one year contract with NO option for further season. Bellerín will sign until June 2023 in the next hours.
Medical scheduled, contract will be terminated by mutual consent with Arsenal.”
