Most people believe that only the delivering woman has agony during childbirth, however, they forget to consider the child’s and father’s perspectives.

According to research, a baby’s cry may be as a result of the pain of delivery and the exposure to cold air, pressure, and a new environment that causes their lungs to expand, expel amniotic fluids, and mucus as they cry. The first cry of a baby is generally interpreted as a sign of healthy lungs.

Meanwhile, babies breathe amniotic fluid while in their mother’s womb, but once they’re out, they breathe dry air for the first time, which can be difficult (and terrible), and the labor pain they feel can cause them to cry.

The pain felt by the baby during his or her first breath and delivery can leave them sore and tired, causing them to fall asleep nearly immediately.

When a baby does not cry after birth, why do doctors or moms get concerned? They may be worried because the baby should have taken its first breath of dry air to demonstrate that its lungs are healthy.

As a result of the delay, they have to turn the newborns upside down and spank them to get rid of any amniotic fluid that may have built up in their lungs and to help them breathe dry air for the first time (cry in the process). Although spanking is a traditional method, the babies are now instantly moved to the resuscitation room to dry and stimulate their breathing.

Why do babies cry more often in the first few months of their lives? They cry most of the time in reaction to hunger, discomfort, and drowsiness. As a result, parents or guardians should be aware of how to help their child in dealing with any of these reactions.
