Barcelona on the other hand, boasts of the dynamic duo of Pedri and Gavi who are both 19 and 17 years old. The midfield trio is completed by Frenkie De Jong who is currently 25 years old.
From the look of things, Pedri, Gavi and Frenkie De Jong are the future of Barcelona midfield. They’re expected to form the same kind of partnership the trio of Lionel Messi, Xavi and Andreas Iniesta formed during their time.
The trio of Eduardo Camavinga, Federico Valverde and Aurelien Tchouameni are expected to replace the trio of Kroos, Luka Modric and Casemiro when they all hang their boots or leave the club.
